T-Town Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition
TSAPC was launched in the spring of 2021. TSAPC is a coalition made up of P.R.I.D.E. staff members as well as an eclectic mix of community leaders whose main goal is to reduce substance abuse among youth in our community by addressing the factors in our area that increase the risk of substance abuse and promoting the factors that minimize the risks of substance abuse. TSAPC's long term goal is to host a yearly parent conference that will provide parents with mental health factors, signs of substance abuse and ways to identify risk factors in a child's life. We will also include data collected from our local schools to provide parents with specific, eye opening information. Bibb Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition BSAPC was launched in the summer of 2021. BSAPC is a coalition made up of P.R.I.D.E. staff members as well as community leaders in Bibb County. The main goal of this coalition is to reduce substance abuse in our community by addressing the factors in our area that increase substance abuse and by promoting the factors that minimize the risks of substance abuse. |
