It's 21 4 a Reason Campaign
The “It’s 21 4 a Reason” Campaign through Billboards. This campaign was designed to increase the awareness of why the legal age for alcohol is 21. Research shows that people who start drinking before the age of 15 are 50% more likely to become alcohol dependent as adults. If alcohol is consumed before the legal age, the brain is impacted by stunting the growth of the prefrontal cortex.
The legal age for purchasing tobacco was also changed to 21 in December of 2019.
