Jamie Lake
Executive Director
Jamie joined PRIDE of Tuscaloosa as the Executive Director in June of 2020. Jamie was born, raised and educated in Tuscaloosa County. He spent 28 years of his career in the military working in human resources, leadership and management, college administration, strategic planning, economic development and other community service initiatives. Jamie is a Colonel in the US Army Reserve with 2 year of over seas combat tours and numerous awards and decorations - including 2 Bronze Stars and the Combat Action Badge. Jamie also holds three Masters Degrees including a Masters in Business Administration from UAB, a Masters in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College and a Masters in Leadership & Management from Webster University.
Jamie also serves as an elected member of the Tuscaloosa County Board of Education.
With many years' experience working with children as a Little League baseball and softball coach and as a local Junior Achievement volunteer, Jamie's heart for service to his community, state and country are evident.
Jamie and his wife, Jennifer are the proud parents of 5 who all live, work and attend school here in Tuscaloosa.

Nicole Shine
Prevention Director
Nicole Shine joined PRIDE of Tuscaloosa staff as Prevention Director in August of 2019. Nicole has been in the prevention field for five years. She is a graduate of Stillman College and is a proud member of the Delta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Nicole’s favorite quote says “Balance, peace, and joy are the fruit of a successful life. It starts with recognizing your talents and finding ways to serve others by using them.”- Thomas Kinkade
Nicole truly believes that her talents are best served through her work in prevention and by helping youth become productive, and drug free adults.

Megan Princewill
Prevention Coordinator
Megan Princewill joined PRIDE of Tuscaloosa as a Prevention Specialist in April of 2018 and moved into the role of Prevention Coordinator in June 2019. Prior to finding her place in prevention, Megan spent several years working with teenagers as a youth pastor in North Mississippi and West Texas. Megan holds a Masters in Psychology with a specialization in Child & Adolescent Development. Megan enjoys being outside in nature, photography, music and loving Jesus and people. She and her Nigerian husband, Camari, are all about new adventures, traveling, spending time with family and their two cats, Jack & Diane.

Kenna Young joined PRIDE of Tuscaloosa as a prevention specialist in August of 2019. Kenna graduated from The University of Alabama in December of 2017 with a Bachelors in Human Environmental Science. During her studies she took courses regarding drugs and addiction and realized the importance of drug education and prevention in society. She is very passionate about making a positive impact on any community that surrounds her. Kenna has an adventurous spirit that lead her to travel the world to do missionary work, spending extensive time in Africa and Cambodia. She is excited to continue doing good work for the people of Alabama.
Kenna's Favorite quote is by John Wesley which says, "Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can."

Jennifer joined PRIDE in January 2020 as a Prevention Specialist. She holds a B.B.A. from Mississippi State University, a B.S. from Mississippi University for Women, and an M.B.A. from the University of Mississippi. Jennifer and her husband, Paul, share a love for numismatics in their community and own "United States Rare Coin & Currency" in Meridian, MS. Both Paul and Jen are members of Rotary International and spend their free time “Doing Good in the World”. Hobbies include fishing, boating and hunting.

Corlina Koranda
Prevention Specialist
Corlina joined Pride of Tuscaloosa in August of 2020. She has a BA in Criminal Justice
and a MA in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of South Dakota.
Corlina has four children who all attend Tuscaloosa County Schools. She enjoys traveling the
Southeast watching her children play sports, but admits she dreams of the day when they can
take a vacation that doesn’t include a ball and a field. Corlina also has a precious rescue pup
named Buster.

She is a current student at the University of Alabama seeking a Bachelors in Human Environmental Science, majoring in Addiction and Recovery with a minor in Criminal Justice. She discovered her passion at UA when she added Addiction and Recovery as a minor - and quickly realized that was meant to be her major. She is passionate about children and animals and loves spending time with her family.
